“List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they’re any good, but they must be songs you’re really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your LJ along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they’re listening to.”

Anything by WABS
Eels – Trouble with Dreams
Bad Religion – Strange Denial
Splitsville – the Misfits
Me First and the Gimme Gimmes – Take Me Home Country Roads
America – Sister Golden Hair
Jewel – You Were Meant For Me

I don’t need to justify my tastes, but I will.
WABS couldn’t be left out. Blinking Lights and Other Revelations is completely ridic. Splitsville’s Ultrasound is surprisingly good, no verdict yet on the other stuff of theirs I have. The last three songs I am currently learning to play, so they get mention because I am listening* to them a lot. Should that count?

Honorable mention goes to Richard Cheese – Somebody Told Me. I like that song, but refuse to include that artist on my actual list.

Tagging: iamthedoctorcd, ardric47, daghain, lunarmoon, seifertim, teflonspyder and valimagdon

* I can’t actually _listen_ to the Jewel song because I don’t have the mp3, but I’ve heard it enough times that it is firmly in my head, and I can listen to it like that.
