I’ve seen two rainbows in the past week. Both at dawn.

I saw this question in a survey a friend took and. . .

55. at this point in your life would you rather start a new career or relationship?

I thought about how I would answer when I read it, as I do most survey questions and the answer kinda surprised me and shocked me into reality.

I would change neither.

I love my job, even though S/A would say something like “then why don’t you ever do it?”(I don’t work very often)
I can’t possibly complain about what Mary and I have. It’s the most fun, most exciting “relationship” I’ve ever had with a girl. Maybe with anyone. It’s kind of a shame that she is afraid of some of the labels that could aptly be applied to what we have. I don’t think she’d want to call it a relationship, hence the quotes.

So my shocking reality is that I really like my life right now. Good job that is fun. In school, with time for it, good grades. Great girl.
I’ve really got it pretty good. Better than I’ve ever had it before.

Didn’t work enough.

Most rambling post ever

Mostly Rubik’s Cube stuff, with a bit about staying up too late.

I have no idea why this goes on so long.

The joy of Communism

New sanctions are being placed on broadcast media in China. No longer can any news outfit use a feed from outside the country. Makes sense, after all, the best source on any news item would obviously be a chinese reporter, who has likely never set foot outside the country. Trust the wonderful government they will gloriously lead you forward to a perfect tomorrow!

This is a very weak, but recent and obvious example of what’s wrong with more government, for those of you who wonder why I mention it at all. Thomas Jefferson was for a smaller government, and so am I. If you think for a second that it’s possible to have a government with lots of power that doesn’t engage in shocking abuses, you obviously are missing some important information pertaining to human nature. If you have the power, you and those near you will do anything to retain it. Especially since the sort of people who strive for positions of power are not the sort of people who feel those seats should be done away with. is perhaps the exception here.

THANKS, MAGIC: THE GATHERING!

create your own visited states map
or check out these Google Hacks.

I visited colorado with my parents when I was little, and I visited the state of Pennsylvania and farther east with my family when I was younger, or else when I was running around the country with Nick and his mom.

Every other state visited has been through magic. GPs, PTQs, ah the travel afforded by a semi-professional’s approach to the game.

Figured that “Josh” and “Josh Smith” would both be too general.
